The Winners of World Travel Awards, presented by The Wall Street Journal as the "Oscars of the travel industry", was unveiled at the annual gala ceremony held in the Turks & Caicos Islands.

The Conrad Maldives hotel owned by Hilton has been named best hotel in the Indian Ocean and best "beach resort in the world" during the ceremony.

This luxury hotel is located on Rangali Island beside a beautiful sandy beach. It is installed on two different islands connected by a surrounded by emerald lagoon bridge.
